Accessibility Statement

Esteric Kitchens & Interior Designs Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

1. Our approach

We aim to align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, a widely recognised standard for web accessibility. This includes attention to colour contrast, keyboard navigability, semantic markup, and descriptive text for interactive elements and images.

2. What we've built in

Measures already in place across this website include:

Semantic HTML structure and heading hierarchy for screen reader navigation.
Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and interactive components.
Sufficient colour contrast between text and background across both light and dark themes.
Descriptive labels on form fields and interactive controls.
Alt text guidance for all published photography (portfolio, blog, and certification images) as content is added.

3. Known limitations

This site currently uses placeholder graphic panels in place of real photography in several sections while real project photography is being prepared. These are decorative and marked accordingly. As with any website, some third-party embedded content (such as the Google Maps embed on our Contact page) is outside our direct control for accessibility purposes.

4. Feedback

If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this website, please contact us at hello@ekiinteriors.com or +254 723 993 333, describing the issue and the page involved. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address issues raised.
